The Center Library

The Center for Latin American Studies Library is a non-lending collection of books and other research materials located on the first floor of the Center at 2334 Bowditch Street. The Library was established with a generous gift from Dr. David Lorey, formerly of the Hewlett Foundation.

Since its inauguration in May 2003, other Latin Americanist faculty and friends of the Center have followed Dr. Lorey's lead, contributing duplicates or copies of their own books. We invite you to contribute to the enhancement of our library, which will be open to faculty, students, and the community in general.

The Library also incorporates a large collection of video recordings of Center events, as well as a wide selection of Latin American films and documentaries.

The Library is normally open during the business hours of the Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

We also have an online archive of webcasts and other multimedia resources.
