Ricardo Lagos was president of Chile from 2000-2006 and the former UN special envoy for climate change. In 2006, Chancellor Birgeneau awarded him Berkeley's highest honor, the Berkeley Medal.

Graduate and advanced undergraduate Berkeley students are welcome to apply.

The course will start on August 28, 2012, and extend through mid-September. It will convene on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
*Note: on September 13 the class will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
